Description

Black people are poor and the sad part is that poverty has made other nations to look down upon them. To make it in life, they have to work twice as hard to succeed. White people don’t carry the same burden, their skin color buys them a ticket to success. That said, the poverty situation of Black South Africans was determined long ago by advocates of apartheid. In other words, black people are poor by design. This is not an excuse but the truth. The fall of apartheid brought about hope that their lives will change for the better. Nevertheless, the ushering in of democracy didn’t liberate them from poverty. They are still poor. They have political freedom but lack economic power. Political freedom without economic power is useless.
